The CZ 512 is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle with a unique modular design that requires only a coin as a tool for field stripping. The action is composted of an aluminum alloy receiver that secures the barrel and bolt assembly and a fiberglass reinforced polymer lower section that houses the trigger mechanism and detachable magazine. The 512 shares the same magazine as the bolt action CZ 455.
