beautiful rifle I recently bought one and it is in near perfect condition. Mine is dated 1969 and built in the arsenal 26 factory. It looks unused and when i ran a borescope down the barrel it looked pristine. Took some time to clean the cosmoline but the great thing about the sks is how easy it is to strip down for cleaning. This one was a numbers matching rifle too, I hope to keep it for a long time. Thank you chairman mao and bullseye north.

A random gun owner 716 days ago

Grab one before it's gone! Bought mine not long ago at the store. 99.999999% mint condition with minor scratches on the gun stock. All metal parts are matching, free of pitting and rust; the bore is brand new and shows no signs of use. All in all this is a very beautiful rifle made by Jianshe Arsenal (previously named as the State Arsenal 296) in Chongqing PRC. I think mine was made in 1978.

I like history 657 days ago

Looks in good condition Just got my 'new' arsenal 26, manufactured 1969 (or 1970 by some SN decoders), and it looks to be in good condition; got the oil container, cleaning kit (in the stock but), a loading clip, and came with spike bayonet as I expected. The barrel is really shiny clean, no cosmoline down into, which surprised me (not sure yet how to judge this). However, there were two things that made me refrain of giving maximum stars, at the visual/operation inspection ( though not fired yet): it did not come with a sling, which I was expecting it to fulfill the historical aspect, and while taking aim down the iron sights, with the bayonet unfolded, I noticed that the bayonet is slightly bent (surely, I'll try straighten it up later, but doesn't seem easily, perfectly achievable). Anyways, I'm happy that I got the opportunity to buy it at a reduced price on black Friday sale (gave a 1/2 star for that).
