The O2 Curve provides exceptional protection from airborne particles with a tight face seal and highly breathable filters. The O2 Curve provides premium respiratory protection without compromising on comfort or style.
The High Bridge Fit is for you if:
• Your nose bridge is near eye level
• Your nose is raised/angled.
• You can wear most glasses
* Due to manufacturing limitations the microfiber pouch that is listed in the manual as coming with the O2 mask is not included.
Notice: No respirator is capable of protecting you 100% against any other dangerous substance or virus. In particular, COVID-19 is not yet fully understood. We cannot and we expressly do not guarantee that our respirators will protect you against the Coronavirus.
Does the O2 Curve have N95 certification?
Due to the compact design of the O2 Curve mask, it is not compatible with the N95 testing procedure. The filter media used in the O2 Curve is capable of filtering ultra-fine particulates. Tests with this material have achieved greater than 99% efficiency down to 0.1 microns.
In addition, the O2 Curve achieved a 98.6% efficiency for PM2.5 during tests performed at the University of Waterloo's Green Energy and Pollution Control Research Lab. No mask is capable of guaranteeing 100% protection against viruses. However, due to its medical-grade silicone seal, the O2 Curve provides a better air-tight seal and fit than most cloth and disposable masks. The VFE efficiency for the filter membrane used in the O2 Curve achieved a VFE of 99.997% in tests performed by Nelson Laboratories with a mean particle size of 2.7µm.
How often should I replace the O2 Curve's filter?
How often you should replace your filter depends on usage and the environment it's used in. For general use, such as pollution filtration, the filter should last 1 to 2 weeks. In very dusty environments, you may need to switch the filter more often.
When protecting against viruses, the filter should be disposed of each time the mask is removed. It is also recommended that the mask be completely sanitized between uses.
Health measures that work for some people may not necessarily work for others. Different people have different levels of sensitivity, and as such, may require different types of masks to protect against the same type and concentration of substance. A mask improperly used may do little to protect you from any offending substance and may even worsen your exposure in some cases.
What does the O2 Curve filter?
The O2 Curve's replaceable electrostatic filters provide filtration for particulate matter as small as 0.1 microns. With 98.6% filtration efficiency for PM2.5, it can be used to filter bacteria, pollen, mold spores, air pollution, road dust, sawdust, metal dust, drywall dust, airborne particles from wildfires, and other PM2.5 particles.
How Do I Clean the O2 Curve?
When cleaning the O2 Curve remove the filter and sanitize the seal, shell and inner lattice. This can be performed in a variety of ways. The O2 Curve is capable of being boiled or used in a dishwasher. Additionally, the O2 Curve can be hand washed with soap and water and air dried in a non-contaminated environment. Finally, a sanitizing wipe is also an option to keep the O2 Curve as clean and bacteria-free as possible. When protecting against viruses, the O2 Curve filters are recommended to be replaced after each use and handled with disposable gloves to avoid potential contamination. This guide is a best practice recommendation and will not guarantee protection against contracting any illness or virus.
