The Lee-Enfield is a bolt-action, magazine-fed repeating rifle that served as the main firearm of the military forces of the British Empire and Commonwealth during the first half of the 20th centry, and was the British Army's standard rifle from its official adoption in 1895 until 1957. The WW2 versions are often referred to as the "No.4 Mark I". The No.4 action was similar to the No.1 Mk III but stronger and easier to mass-produce. The No.4 rifle was heavier than the No.1 Mk III, largely due to its heavier barrel.
Rifles have not been sporterized and sit in original military configuration. This is a great opportunity to own a piece of WW2 history at a more than reasonable price tag. The overall condition is poor.
NOTE: Suplus firearms can sometimes need a detailed cleaning before use, as they may have been in storage for many years. minor pitting or rust.
